Welcome to Alsace Gravel Bike, a gravel bike rental company south of Colmar.


Our concept

In the heart of the Alsatian vineyards, we offer our range of high-performance Welt gravel bikes for your adventure on the trails of Alsace, between vineyards and mountains. Enjoy the pleasure of riding on all surfaces, for short or long distances.

Our meeting points

You can collect your bikes for free from one of our 5 conveniently located meeting points along the Alsace Wine Route: Rouffach, Pfaffenheim, Gueberschwihr, Hattstatt, and Eguisheim.


Delivery

We offer free delivery of your bikes to your accommodation within a 5 km radius of Hattstatt. Beyond 5 km, delivery is subject to an additional charge.

We are enthusiastic gravel and race cyclists ourselves in the Netherlands and rented two gravel bikes from Jérémie during our stay in Colmar. The bikes are brand new (few months in) and in mint condition. Aluminium frame, carbon fork, GRX drivetrain. He takes time to find the right size and make adjustments where needed. Also a map of the area with popular routes and advice over a coffee were provided.
By default the bikes have flat pedals for normal (sports)shoes. Clip in pedals will be available soon. Helmets, locks and tools can be provided and even delivery to your doorstep is an option.

Our recent experience with the team at Alsace Gravel Bike was excellent in all respects. The bikes were sturdy, quiet, perfectly tuned, and well suited for both gravel and road riding. Jeremie delivered them adjusted for our desired saddle height and placement - and at our agreed-upon time. He and Isabel spent valuable time with us going over maps he had brought - and suggesting routes based on our desires and abilities. We recommend them unconditionally and hope to revisit the region to do more riding!

I highly recommend renting a bike from Alsace Gravel Bike if you want to explore the beautiful landscapes of Alsace on two wheels. The bikes are not only high-quality, but also carefully maintained and adjusted to your needs prior the trip. I really appreciated being able to book my reservation online before my visit to Hattstatt, and I’m grateful to Jérémie for the helpful tips he shared about my planned route.
